"LAUNCH is a place you know you can feel respect for who you are and for what you want to be."

LAUNCH is an out-of-time school program for youth (11-15 years old) to explore college and career options.

Youth create individual LAUNCH portfolios outlining a plan for graduation and college success, gain experience from field trips to area employers and local colleges, and explore careers of interest through guest speakers and community service projects.

LAUNCH is hosted Monday-Thursday from 3:00-5:30 p.m. in the Ames Lake Community Center during the school year.

In the summer participating youth either serve as Senior Camper Volunteers in the onsite summer day camp or participate in KidVenture, a middle school youth program hosted by the Eastside Learning Collaborative.
